Auskick
Please register your interest on the Join us page and we will contact you as we further develop our program.
Auskick
The Auskick program is an introduction to Aussie Rules with no weekend matches for kids aged approximately 5-8 years old (older children can still participate and we will adjust the sessions for their skill level). Each session is specially designed to introduce AFL in a safe environment (no tackling), with emphasis on having fun! It ensures that all children develop the fundamental skills required to participate in Australian Football.
All Auskick Rookies receive an Auskick pack in the mail directly from the AFL to the address provided during registration.
The 2024 program will commence in Term 3 2024 on Sunday afternoon from 2-3pm.

Superkick
The Southern Cats are working with the AFL to bring Superkick to Cooma in 2024.
NAB AFL Superkick is for anyone aged 8-12 wanting to get a feel for footy, without the pressure. It’s a great next step after Auskick or a good way to start fresh in footy, as you’ll learn new skills through skill-based activities in weekly sessions, then show them off in games straight after. Teams range from 5-9 players per side, so kids feel safe learning footy and building confidence, while still having fun. This program will run for 10 weeks with one session per week.
All Superkick participants receive an Superkick pack in the mail directly from the AFL to the address provided during registration.
Each session starts with 15 minutes of skills before putting those skills into action with 45 minutes of fun, modified game play (no tackling).
The 2024 program will commence in Term 3 2024 on Sunday afternoon from 3-4pm.
